Roshik Jadhari is one of the younger members of the band, playing sarangi as his primary instrument. Like several of his bandmates, he’s from the culturally rich city of Bhaktapur, and his musical journey started early — well before sarangi became his focus.
Before settling into sarangi, Roshik spent his early years learning Newari drums, traditional instruments, and cultural dance forms. That broad early exposure to multiple traditional art forms gives him a wider frame of reference than a musician who trained on a single instrument from the start.
His enthusiasm for the craft comes through in how he’s described — someone still early in his career but already deeply invested in preserving and performing traditional Newari musical forms within a modern band context. As the band continues to grow its audience, his sarangi work remains one of its more immediately recognizable traditional textures.
